9:1 And when the malkat (מלכּה) Sheva heard of the fame of Sh'lomo (שׁלמה), she came to prove Sh'lomo (שׁלמה) with hard questions at Yerushalayim, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and zahav in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Sh'lomo (שׁלמה), she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
9:2 And Sh'lomo (שׁלמה) told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from Sh'lomo (שׁלמה) which he told her not.

9:5 And she said to the melekh, [It was] a true report which I heard in mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:
9:6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen [it]: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was not told me: [for] thou exceedest the fame that I heard.
9:7 Happy [are] thy men, and happy [are] these thy avadim , which stand continually before thee, and hear thy wisdom.
9:8 Baruch YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha, which delighted in thee to set thee on his throne, [to be] melekh for YHWH (יהוה) Eloheicha: because Eloheicha loved Yisra'el, to establish them for ever, therefore made he thee melekh over them, to do judgment and justice.
9:9 And she gave the melekh an hundred and twenty talents of zahav, and of spices great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the malkat (מלכּה) Sheva gave melekh Sh'lomo (שׁלמה).
9:10 And the avadim also of Churam, and the avadim of Sh'lomo (שׁלמה), which brought zahav from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.
9:11 And the melekh made [of] the algum trees terraces to Beit YHWH (יהוה), and to the melekh's palace, and kinnorot (harps) and nevelim (lyres) for meshorarim: and there were none such seen before in the eretz Yehudah.
9:12 And melekh Sh'lomo (שׁלמה) gave to the malkat (מלכּה) Sheva all her desire, whatsoever she asked, beside [that] which she had brought unto the melekh. So she turned, and went away to her own land, she and her avadim .

9:19 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the six steps. There was not the like made in any malkut.
9:20 And all the drinking vessels of melekh Sh'lomo (שׁלמה) [were of] zahav, and all the vessels of Beit the forest of Levanon [were of] pure zahav: none [were of] silver; it was [not] any thing accounted of in the days of Sh'lomo (שׁלמה).
