5:1 Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Mashiach has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of slavery.
5:2 Look, I, Paulos, (Παῦλος) say to you, that if you accept circumcision, Mashiach will be of no advantage to you at all.
5:3 For I testify again to every man who accepts circumcision that he is obligated to keep the entire Torah.
5:4 You who are declared right by Torah have severed yourselves from Mashiach, you have fallen from favour.
5:5 For we through the Ruach by faith, eagerly wait for the expectation of righteousness.
5:6 For in Mashiach Yeshua (ישוע) neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, But faith working through love (agape).
5:7 You were running well; who held you back from obeying the truth?
5:8 This persuasion comes not of him that calls you.
5:9 A little leaven leavened the whole lump.
5:10 I have confidence in you, in Adonay, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.
5:11 And I, Achim, if I still proclaim circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the stake has been done away with.
5:12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
5:13 For, achim, you have been called to liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
5:14 For all the Torah is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
5:15 But if you bite and devour one another, take heed that you be not consumed one of another.
5:16 This I say then: "Walk in the Ruach, and you shall by no means accomplish the lust of the flesh."
5:17 For the flesh lusts against the Ruach, and the Ruach against the flesh: And these are opposed one to the other: so to keep you from doing the things you want to do.
5:18 But if you be led of the Ruach, you are not under the Torah
5:19 Now the works of the flesh are well known, which are [these]; adultery, fornication, uncleanness, indecency,
5:20 Idolatry, drug sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, fits of rage, selfish ambition, division; split parties.
5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, wild parties, and the like - of which I forewarn you, even as I also said before, that those who practise such as these shall not inherit the kingdom of Elohim (אלהים).
5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, gracious, trustworthiness,
5:23 Meekness, Self control: against such there is no Torah.
5:24 And they that are Mashiach's have impaled the flesh with the affections and lusts.
5:25 If we live in the Ruach, let us also halak in the Ruach.
5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
