How the Torah
portion or
Parashah works?
There are a total of 54
Parashot in a year and it is divided
into seven portions in a week. On Yom Shabbat the Parashah
is to be read by 7 aliyots on Shabbat. While the Maftir is to be
read by the entire congregation. Recite the Kiryat HaTorah -
Blessing before the Torah reading We read each portion a day for our daily portion and to
be shared when the group met on Shabbat.
