Messianic Jewish perspective of 1 Kefa

1:1 Shimon Kefa, shaliach Yeshua (יֵשוּעַ) ha Mashiach,
To those who reside as sojourner who are living as exiles (diaspora) scattered throughout Pontos ( פנטוס), Galatia (גלטיא), Kappadokia (קפודקיא), Asia (אסיא), and Bithunia (ביתיניא),
1:2Elect according to the foreknowledge of Elohim Avinu, the set apart ones of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Yeshua (יֵשוּעַ) Mashiach:
Grace to you, and shalom, be multiplied.
Demonstration of faith - call to be set apart
1:3 Baruch HaShem haElohim and Abba Mashiach Yeshua (יֵשוּעַ) Adoneinu , which according to his abundant rachamim has begotten us again to a tikvah chayim by ha Techiyas (resurrection of) Yeshua (יֵשוּעַ) Mashiach from the dead,
1:4 To have nachalah (inheritance) incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,
1:5 Who by the power of Elohim who protected through faith for a salvation which is ready to be revealed in the last time.
1:6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,
1:7 That the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Yeshua (יֵשוּעַ) Mashiach,
1:8 Though you have not seen Him, you love Him. Though you do not now see Him, you believe in Him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory,
1:9 Receiving the end of your emunah, [even] the salvation of [your] souls.
1:10 Of which salvation the Neviim have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace [that should come] to you:
1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Ruach of Mashiach which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Mashiach, and the tiferet that should follow.
1:12 to whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they did minister the things, which are now reported to you by them that have proclaimed the Good News to you with the Ruach HaKodesh sent down from shamayim; which things the malakhim desire to look into.
1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds, for action; be sober, in spirit and fix your hope completely on the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Yeshua (יֵשוּעַ) Mashiach;
1:14 As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in the days of your ignorance;
1:15 But as he which has called you is set apart, so be you set apart in all manner of conversation;
1:16 Because it is written,
"Be Kodesh; for ANI Kodesh."
1:17 If you call upon as "Avinu" the One who impartially judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth;
1:18 Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain conversation [received] by tradition from your avot;
1:19 But with the precious blood of Mashiach, as of a Lamb without blemish and without spot:
1:20 He was foreknown before the yesod Ha Olam but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you,
1:21who through Him believe in Elohim, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in Elohim.
1:22 Having purified your nefashot (souls) by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love (philadelphia), love (agapao) one another earnestly from a pure heart,
1:23 You have been regenerated (anagennao), not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of Elohim, which lives and remaining firm forever.
1:24 For "All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls,
1:25 But Dvar YHWH (יהוה) stands forever. And this is the Dvar which by the good news is proclaimed to you.
