Yisrael defended against Enemies
9:1 The burden of the Dvar ADONAI (יהוה) in the land Hadrach, and Demesek [shall be] the rest thereof: when the eyes of man, as of all the tribes of Yisrael, [shall be] toward ADONAI (יהוה).
9:2 And Hamat also shall border thereby; Tyrus, and Zidon, though it be very wise.
9:3 And Tyrus did build herself a strong hold, and heaped up kesef as the dust, and fine zahav as the mire of the streets.
9:4 hinei, the ADONAI (יהוה) will cast her out, and he will smite her power in the sea; and she shall be devoured with fire.
9:5 Ashkelon shall see [it], and fear; Azah (Gaza עזּה) also [shall see it], and be very sorrowful, and Ekron; for her expectation shall be ashamed; and the king shall perish from Azah , and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.
9:6 And a mamzer (mongrel) shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Pelishti.
9:7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: but he that remaineth, even he, [shall be] for our Elohim (אלהים), and he shall be as a governor in Yehudah, and Ekron as a Yebusite.
9:8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the army, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returns: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes.

Rejoice exceedingly, O daughter of Tzion, Shout, O daughter of Yerusalem, Behold, thy King come to thee, He is Righteous--and saved is He, Afflicted--and riding on a donkey, And on a colt--a son of she-asses.
Mashiach Second Coming for disarmament and Universal peace
9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from Efrayim, and the horse from Yerushalayim, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace to the goyim: and his dominion [shall be] from sea [even] to sea, and from the river [even] to the ends of the land.
9:11 As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein [is] no water.
9:12 Turn you to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope: even to day do I declare [that] I will render double to thee;
9:13 When I have bent Yehudah for me, filled the bow with Efrayim, and raised up thy sons, O Tzyon, against thy sons, O Yavan (Greece), and made thee as the sword a mighty man.
9:14 And ADONAI (יהוה) shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the ADONAI (יהוה) Elohim (אלהים) shall blow the shofar (שׁופר), and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.
9:15 ADONAI (יהוה) Tzva'ot shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, [and] make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, [and] as the corners of the altar.
9:16 And ADONAI (יהוה) their Elohim (אלהים) shall save them B'Yom ha Hu as the flock of His people: for they [shall be as] the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.
9:17 For how great [is] his goodness, and how great [is] his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

What does AHAR mean? ‧ 'achar ‧ 1) after the following part, behind (of place), hinder, afterwards (of time) ISRAEL WILL BE REDEEMED WITH THE RAM’S HORN ‧Midrash Rabbah - Genesis 56:9 ‧AND ABRAHAM LIFTED UP HIS EYES, AND LOOKED, AND BEHOLD BEHIND HIM (AHAR) A RAM (Leviticus 22:13). What does AHAR mean? ‧Said R. Judan: After all that happened, Israel still fall into the clutches of sin and [in consequence] become the victims of persecution; yet they will be ultimately redeemed by the ram's horn, as it says, And ADONAI Elohim will blow the horn, etc. (Zechariah 9:14). R. Abba b. R. Pappi and R. Joshua of Siknin in R. Levi's name said: Because the Patriarch Abraham saw the ram extricate himself from one thicket and go and become entangled in another, the Holy One, blessed be He, said to him: ‧' So will your children be entangled in countries, changing from Babylon to Media, from Media to Greece, and from Greece to Edom; yet they will eventually be redeemed by the ram's horn’ as it is written, And ADONAI Elohim will blow the horn... the Lord of hosts will defend them (Zechariah 9:14-15).
