11:1 And the shlichim and Achim that were in Yehudah heard that the Goyim had also received the word of Elohim (אלהים).

11:2 And when Kefa was come up to Yerushalayim, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,

11:3 Saying, you wentest in to anashim arelim (uncircumcised men), and didst eat with them.

11:4 But Kefa rehearsed [the matter] from the beginning, and expounded [it] by order to them, saying,

11:5 I was in the city of Yofa praying: and in a trance (ektasis) I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

11:6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

11:7 And I heard a voice saying to me, Arise, Kefa; slay and eat.

11:8 But I said, Not so, Adonay: for nothing common (koinos) or unclean (akathartos) have at any time entered into my mouth.

11:9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What Elohim (אלהים) have cleansed, [that] call not you common (koinoo).

11:10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.

11:11 And, behold, immediately there were three anashim already come to the house where I was, sent from Kaisareia to me.

11:12 And the Spirit told me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six Achim accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:

11:13 And he showed us how he had seen a messenger in his house, which stood and said to him, Send anashim to Yofa, and call for Shimon, whose surname is Kefa;

11:14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby you and all your house shall be saved.

11:15 And as I began to speak, the Ruach HaKodesh fell on them, as on us at the beginning.

11:16 Then remembered I the word of Adonay, how that he said, Yochanan indeed immersed with water; but you shall be immersed with the Ruach HaKodesh.

11:17 Forasmuch then as Elohim (אלהים) gave them the like gift as [he did] to us, who believed on Adonay Yeshua (ישוע) Mashiach; what was I, that I could withstand Elohim (אלהים)?

11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified Elohim (אלהים), saying, Then have Elohim (אלהים) also to the Goyim granted repentance to life.

11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephanos travelled as far as Phoinike, and Kuprios, and Antiocheia, proclaiming the word to none but to the Yehudim only.

11:20 And some of them were anashim of Kuprios and Kurenaios, which, when they were come to Antiocheia, spoke to the Grecians, proclaiming Adonay Yeshua (ישוע).

11:21 And the hand of Adonay was with them: and a great number believed, and turned to Adonay.

11:22 Then tidings of these things came to the ears of the assembly which was in Yerushalayim: and they sent forth Bar-Nabas (נביא-בּר), that he should go as far as Antiocheia.

11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of Elohim (אלהים), was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave to Adonay.

11:24 For he was a good man, and full of the Ruach HaKodesh and of faith: and much people was added to Adonay.

11:25 Then departed Bar-Nabas (נביא-בּר) to Tarsos, for to seek Sha'ul:

11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antiocheia. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the assembly, and taught much people. And the taught ones were first called Christianos  in Antiocheia.

11:27 And in these days came Neviim from Yerushalayim to Antiocheia.

11:28 And there stood up one of them named Agabos (חָּגָּב), and signified by the Spirit that there should be great famine throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Klaudios Kaisar.

11:29 Then the taught ones, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief to the Achim which dwelt in Yehudah:

11:30 Which also they did, and sent it to the Ziknei by the hands of Bar-Nabas (נביא-בּר) and Sha'ul.

Trance - ékstasis  Frenzy a displacement (of the mind), i.e. bewilderment, ecstasy: - amazement (1), astonishment (2), completely *(1), trance (3). sacred ecstasy or rapture of the mind beyond itself when the use of the external senses are suspended and Hashem reveals something in a peculiar manner (Act_10:10; Act_11:5; Act_22:17 [cf. 2Co_12:2; Eze_1:1 {cf. Sept.: Gen_2:21}]).

Christianos (Mishikaye) - Yevani word Χριστιανός   Christianos (Mishikaye) Kristyana, Kristianay; in Aramaic is Mishikaye. However noted that the Shlichim - the Sent Ones do not call themselves as Christianos but rather as the "Way" referred to as Netzarim (Acts 24:5, 12-14)

Tarseus / Tarsos Ταρσός  meaning a flat basket the leading city in ancient Cilicia (a province between Syria and Asia Minor), located about 10 miles inland from the coast of present-day Turkey. Tarseus was the most important commercial port in the province of Cilicia since 2300 BC. It has remained continuously populated for more than 6,000 years, making it (perhaps) the oldest city in the world still in existence. It was the birth place of Rav Shaul - Paulos  (Acts 9:11, Acts 9:30; Acts 11:25; Acts 21:39; Acts 22:3)

Today, Tarseus is a modern city with not very many sights of interest to visitors, but a few are worthy of mention.

Paulos's Well is in a courtyard long believed to be the site of Paulos's house, which is approximately 300 meters north of the Republic Area in Kızılmurat District. Archaeological studies have shown Paulos's Well and surrounding areas to have Roman, Byzantium and Ottoman Period cultural layers. The site is a pilgrimage destination for some and the water from the well is believed to have healing powers.

The Tarseus Museum contains artworks of the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods, Roman and Byzantine coins, baked soil pots, and metallic materials.

The Cleopatra Gate, in western Tarseus on Mersin road, dates to around 40 BC. In the upper part of Sağlıklı Village, 15 km from Tarseus, are the remains of a Roman Road.

Sağlılı is a village in Tarseus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 37°02′N 34°55′E it is 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) to Tarseus and 37 kilometres (23 mi) to Mersin. Sağlıklı is famed for the 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) Roman road starting point of which is near the village. The population of village is 1455

Near Izmir, clinging to a cliff face on a sharp slope near Altindere, is the most important and prestigious monastery of the area: The Virgin of the Black Rock or The Black Virgin.
