3:1 What advantage then has the Yehudim ? or what profit [is there] of circumcision?

3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that to them were committed the oracles of Elohim (אלהים).

3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the emunah of Elohim (אלהים) without effect?

3:4 Chalilah (Far be it): yea, let Elohim (אלהים) be true, but every man a liar;

As it is written:

You should be upright in your words and be innocent when they judge you.

3:5 But if our unrighteouness commend the Tzedek of Elohim (אלהים), what shall we say? [Is] Elohim (אלהים) unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)

3:6 Chalilah (Far be it): for then how shall Elohim (אלהים) judge the world?

3:7 But [you say] if through my falsehood Elohim (אלהים)'s integrity is magnified and advertised and abounds to His glory, why am I still being judged as a sinner?

3:8 And not [rather], (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

3:9 What then? are we better [than they]? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Yehudim and Goyim, that they are all under sin;

3:10 As it is written:

3:19 Now we know that what things soever the Torah said, it said to them who are under the Torah: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before Elohim (אלהים).

3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the Torah there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the Torah [is] the knowledge of sin.

3:21 But now the Tzedek of Elohim (אלהים) without the Torah is manifested, being witnessed by the Torah and the Neviim;

3:22 Even the Tzedek of Elohim (אלהים) [which is] by emunah of Yehoshua (יהושע) ha Mashiach to all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of Elohim (אלהים);

3:24 Being justified freely by His unmerited favour through the redemption that is in Mashiach Yehoshua (יהושע):

3:25 Whom Elohim (אלהים) has set forth [to be] a propitiation through emunah in His blood, to declare his Tzedek for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Elohim (אלהים);

3:26 To declare, [I say], at this time His Tzedek: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believes in Yehoshua (יהושע).

3:27 Where [is] boasting then? It is excluded. By what Torah? of works? Nay: but by the Torah of emunah.

3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by emunah without the deeds of the Torah.

3:29 [Is he] the Elohim (אלהים) of the Yehudim only? [is he] not also of the Goyim? Yes, of the Goyim also:

3:30 Seeing [it is] Elohim (אלהים) is One, which shall justify the circumcision by emunah, and uncircumcision through emunah.

3:31 Do we then make void the Torah through emunah? Chalilah (Far be it): yea, we uphold the Torah!

3:2 Orales of Elohim (אלהים). In proving the guilt of the world. Rav Paulos brings the witness of three forms of divine revelation, tha is Elohim (אלהים)'s will as it is revealed in the Torah and Nevvim.

  1. against the pagan, the witness of creation (1:19-20)
  2. against the moralist, the witness of conscience (2:15)
  3. against the Yehudim, the witness of the Scripture

3:25 Propitiation  through faith:atonement, hilasterion, pardon through faith in Yehoshua (יהושע)'s blood atonment, Mercy seat was sprinkled with atoning blood on Yom Kippur representing that the righteous sentence of the Torah had been executed changing a place of judgment into a mercy seat (Heb 9;11-15 compare throne of grace Hebrew 4;14-16
