Of David Bless ADONAI, O my soul, and all that is within me, Bless His Set-Apart Name.
103:2 ברכי נפשׁי את־יהוה ואל־תשׁכחי כל־גמוליו׃
Barachi nafshi et-ADONAI veal-tishkechi kol-gemulav:
Bless ADONAI, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
103:3 הסלח לכל־עונכי הרפא לכל־תחלאיכי׃
Hasoleakh lekhol-avonechi harofe lekhol-takhaluaichi:
Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,
103:4 הגואל משׁחת חייכי המעטרכי חסד ורחמים׃
Hagoel mishakhat khayaichi hamatrechi chesed verachamim:
Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
103:5 המשׂביע בטוב עדיך תתחדשׁ כנשׁר נעוריכי׃
Hamasbiya batov edyekh titkhadesh kanesher neuraichi:
Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
103:6 עשׂה צדקות יהוה ומשׁפטים לכל־עשׁוקים׃
Oseh tzedakot ADONAI umishpatim lekhol-ashukim:
ADONAI executes justice—judgments for all who are oppressed.
103:7 יודיע דרכיו למשׁה לבני ישׂראל עלילותיו׃
Yodia derakhav leMosheh livnei Yisrael alilotav:
He made known His ways to Mosheh, His acts to the children of Yisrael.
103:8 רחום וחנון יהוה ארך אפים ורב־חסד׃
Rakhum vekhanun ADONAI erekha payim verav-chased:
ADONAI is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abounding in mercy.
103:9 לא־לנצח יריב ולא לעולם יטור׃
Lo-lanetzakh yariv velo leolam yitor:
He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever.
103:10 לא כחטאינו עשׂה לנו ולא כעונתינו גמל עלינו׃
Lo khakhataeinu asah lanu velo khaavonoteinu gamal aleinu:
He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor punished us according to our iniquities.
103:11 כי כגבה שׁמים על־הארץ גבר חסדו על־יראיו׃
Ki khigvoha shamayim al-haaretz gavar khasdo al-yereav:
For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is His mercy toward those who fear Him;
103:12 כרחק מזרח ממערב הרחיק ממנו את־פשׁעינו׃
Kirkhok mizrakh mimaarav hirkhik mimenu et-peshaeinu:
As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
103:13 כרחם אב על־בנים רחם יהוה על־יראיו׃
Kerakhem av al-banim rikham ADONAI al-yereav:
As a father pities his children, So ADONAI pities those who fear Him.
103:14 כי־הוא ידע יצרנו זכור כי־עפר אנחנו׃
Ki-hu yada yitzrenu zakhur ki-afar anakhnu:
For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.
103:15 אנושׁ כחציר ימיו כציץ השׂדה כן יציץ׃
Enosh kekhatzir yamav ketsitz hasadeh ken yatzitz:
As for man, his days are like grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
103:16 כי רוח עברה־בו ואיננו ולא־יכירנו עוד מקומו׃
Ki ruach avra-boveh einenu velo-yakirenu od mekomo:
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, And its place remembers it no more.
103:17 וחסד יהוה מעולם ועד־עולם על־יראיו וצדקתו לבני בנים׃
Vechesed ADONAI meolam vead-olam al-yereav vetzidkato livnei vanim:
But the mercy of ADONAI is from everlasting to everlasting On those who fear Him, And His righteousness to children's children,
103:18 לשׁמרי בריתו ולזכרי פקדיו לעשׂותם׃
Leshomrei verito ulezokhrei fikudav laasotam:
To such as keep His covenant, And to those who remember His commandments to do them.
103:19 יהוה בשׁמים הכין כסאו ומלכותו בכל משׁלה׃
ADONAI bashamayim hekhin kiso umalkhuto bakol mashala:
ADONAI has established His throne in heaven, And His kingdom rules over all.
103:20 ברכו יהוה מלאכיו גברי כח עשׂי דברו לשׁמע בקול דברו׃
Barakhu ADONAI malakhav giborei khoakh osei Devaro lishmoa bekol Devaro:
Bless ADONAI, you His messengers, Who excel in strength, who do His Word, Heeding the voice of His Word.
103:21 ברכו יהוה כל־צבאיו משׁרתיו עשׂי רצונו׃
Barakhu ADONAI kol-tzevaav meshartav osei retsono:
Bless ADONAI, all you His hosts, You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
103:22 ברכו יהוה כל־מעשׂיו בכל־מקמות ממשׁלתו ברכי נפשׁי את־יהוה׃
Barakhu ADONAI kol-maasav bekhol-mekomot memshallo
Barakhi nafshi et-ADONAI:
Bless ADONAI, all His works, In all places of His dominion.
