The Man' of Elohim's Right hand
80:1 Give ear, O Ro'eh (Shepherd) Yisrael, Thou who lead that Yosef like a flock; Thou who dwell between the keruvim, shine forth!
80:2 Before Efrayim and Benyamin and Menasheh stir up Thy strength, and come and save us.
80:3 Turn us again, O Elohim (אלהים), and cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
80:4 O YEHOVAH (יהוה) Elohim (אלהים) Tzava'ot, How long will Thou be angry against the tefillah of Amecha (Thy people)?
80:5 Thou have fed them with the bread of tears; and given them tears to drink in great measure.
80:6 Thou have made us a strife unto our neighbours: And our enemies laugh among themselves.
80:7 Turn us again, O Elohim (אלהים) Tzava'ot, and cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
80:8 Thou have brought a vine out of Mitzrayim: Thou have cast out the nations, and planted it.
80:9 Thou prepared room it, And cause it to take deep root, And it filled the land.
80:10 The mountains covered with its shadow, and the branches as the mighty Ceders (ארזי־אל).
80:11 She spread her branches to the Sea, And her shoots to the River. unto the river.
80:12 Why have You broken down her hedges, So that all who pass by the way pluck her fruit?
80:13 The boar out of the woods uproots it, And the wild beast of the field devours it
80:14 Return, we beseech Thee, O Elohim (אלהים) Tzava'ot: look down from Shamayim, and behold, and visit this vine;
Vekhanah asher-natah yehminekha ve al-ben imatztah lakh:
And the stock which Thy right hand has planted, And the son whom Thou made strong for Thyself.
80:16They have burned it with fire; they have cut it down; may they perish at the rebuke of Thy face!
Tehi-yadkha al-ish yeminekha al-ben-adam imatzta lakh:
Let Thy hand be upon the man of Thy right hand, Upon the son of Adam whom Thou made strong for Thyself.
80:18 And we will not turn back from Thee; Revive us, and we will call upon Thy Name.
80:19 Turn us again, O YEHOVAH (יהוה) Elohim (אלהים) Tzava'ot, cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
