6:2 And the benai Kohat;
Amram, Yitzar, and Chevron, and Uzzi'el.
6:3 And the benai Amram; Aharon, and Mosheh, and Miriam. Benai also of Aharon; Nadav, and Avihu, Eli'ezer, and Itamar.
6:4 Eli'ezer begat Pinchas, Pinchas begat Avishua,
6:5 And Avishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,
6:6 And Uzzi begat Zerahyah, and Zerahyah begat Meraiot,
6:7 Meraiot begat Amaryah, and Amaryah begat Ahituv,
6:8 And Ahituv begat Tzadok, and Tzadok begat Ahimaaz,
6:9 And Ahimaaz begat Azaryah, and Azaryah begat Yohanan,
6:10 And Yochanan begat Azaryah, (he [it is] that executed the kohen's office in the temple that Shlomo built in Yerushalayim:)
6:11 And Azaryah begat Amaryah, and Amaryah begat Achituv,
6:12 And Ahituv begat Tzadok, and Tzadok begat Shallum,
6:13 And Shallum begat Hilkyah, and Hilkyah begat Azaryah,
6:14 And Azaryah begat Serayah, and Serayah begat Yeho'tzadak,
6:15 And Yeho'tzadak went [into captivity], when YHWH (יהוה) carried away Yehudah and Yerushalayim by the hand of Nevukadnetztzar.
6:16-1 The benai Levi; Gershom, Kohat, and Merari.
6:17-2 And these [be] the names of the benai Gershom;
Livni, and Shimei.
6:18-3 And the benai Kohat [were],
Amram, and Yitzar, and Chevron, and Uzzi'el.
6:19-4 The benai Merari;
Mahli, and Mushi. And these [are] the families of the Leviim according to their avot.
6:20-5 Of Gershom;
Livni beno, Yachat beno, Zimmah beno,
6:21-6 Yoach beno, Iddo beno, Zerah beno, Yea'trai beno.
6:22-7 The benai Kohat;
Amminadav beno, Korah beno, Assir beno,
6:23-8 Elkanah beno, and Evyasaf beno, and Assir beno,
6:24-9 Tachat beno, Uri'el beno, Uzzyah beno, and Shaul beno.
6:25-10 And the benai Elkanah; Amasai, and Achimot.
6:26-11 [As for] Elkanah: the benai Elkanah; Zofai beno, and Nachat beno,
6:27-12 Eli'av beno, Yeroham beno, Elkanah beno.

6:31-16 And these [are they] whom Davyid set over the avodah (service) of song in the bayit of YHWH (יהוה), after that the ark had rest.
6:32-17 And they mesharetim (ministers) before the mishkan ohel Mo'ed with singing, until Shlomo had built the bayit of YHWH (יהוה) in Yerushalayim: and [then] they waited on their office according to their order.
6:33-18 And these [are] they that waited with their children. Of the benai the Kohatites: Heman a singer, Ben Yo'el, Ben Shemu'el,
6:34-19 Ben Elkanah, Ben Yeroham, Ben Eli'el, Ben Toach,
6:35-20 Ben Zuf, Ben Elkanah, Ben Machat, Ben Amasai,
6:36-21 Ben Elkanah, Ben Yo'el, Ben Azaryah, Ben Zefanyah,
6:37-22 Ben Tachat, Ben Assir, Ben Eviasaf, Ben Korah,
6:38-23 Ben Yitzar, Ben Kohat, Ben Levy, Ben Yisra'el.
6:39-24 And his brother Asaf, who stood on his right hand, [even] Asaf Ben Berakyah, Ben Shimea,
6:40-25 Ben Mika'el, Ben Baaseyah, Ben Malkyah,
6:41-26 Ben Ethni, Ben Zerah, Ben Adayah,
6:42-27 Ben Eitan, Ben Zimmah, Ben Shimei,
6:43-28 Ben Yachat, Ben Gershom, Ben Levy.
6:44-29 And their achim the benai Merari [stood] on the left hand: Etan Ben Kishi, Ben Avdi, Ben Malluk,
6:45-30 Ben Hashavyah, Ben Amazyah, Ben Hilkyah,
6:46-31 Ben Amzi, Ben Bani, Ben Shamer,
6:47-32 Ben Mahli, Ben Mushi, Ben Merari, Ben Levy.
6:48-33 Their achim also the Leviim [were] appointed unto all manner of avodah (service) of the tabernacle of the Beit Elohim (אלהים).
6:49-34 But Aharon and his banim offered upon the altar of the olah, and on the altar of incense, [and were appointed] for all the work of the [place] most Set apart, and to make an atonement for Yisra'el, according to all that Mosheh the eved Elohim (אלהים) had commanded.
6:50-35 And these [are] the benai Aharon; Eli'ezer beno, Pinchas beno, Avishua beno,
6:51-36 Bukki beno, Uzzi beno, Zerahyah beno,
6:52-37 Meraiot beno, Amaryah beno, Ahituv beno,
6:53-38 Tzadok beno, Ahimaaz beno.

6:54-39 Now these [are] their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the benai Aharon, of the families of the Kohatites: for theirs was the lot.
6:55-40 And they gave them Chevron in the eretz Yehudah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.
6:56-41 But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Kalev Ben Yefunneh.
6:57-42 And to the benai Aharon they gave the cities of Yehudah, [nam'ely], Chevron, [the city] of refuge, and
Livnah with her suburbs, and Yattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,
6:58-43 And Hilen with her suburbs,
Devir with her suburbs,
6:59-44 And Ashan with her suburbs, and
Beit-Shemesh with her suburbs:
6:60-45 And out of the shevet (tribe) of Benyamin;
Geva with her suburbs, and
Alemet with her suburbs, and
Anathot with her suburbs.
All their cities throughout their families [were] thirteen cities.
6:61-46 And unto the benai Kohat, [which were] left of the family of that shevet, [were cities given] out of the half shevet (tribe), [nam'ely, out of] the half [shevet] of Menasheh, by lot, ten cities.
6:62-47 And to the benai Gershom throughout their families out of the shevet of Yissakhar, and out of the shevet of Asher, and out of the shevet of Naftali, and out of the shevet of Menasheh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
6:63-48 Unto the benai Merari [were given] by lot, throughout their families, out of the shevet (tribe) of Reuven, and out of the shevet of Gad, and out of the shevet of Zevulun, twelve cities.
6:64-49 And the benai Yisra'el gave to the Leviim [these] cities with their suburbs.
6:65-50 And they gave by lot out of the shevet (tribe) of the benai Yehudah, and out of the shevet of the benai Shimeon, and out of the shevet of the benai Benyamin, these cities, which are called by [their] names.
6:66-51 And [the residue] of the families of the benai Kohat had cities of their coasts out of the shevet (tribe) of Efrayim.
6:67-52 And they gave unto them, [of] the cities of refuge, Shekem in mount Efrayim with her suburbs; [they gave] also Gezer with her suburbs,
6:68-53 And Yokme'am with her suburbs, and
Beit-Horon with her suburbs,
6:69-54 And Aiyalon with her suburbs, and Gat-Rimmon with her suburbs:
6:70-55 And out of the half shevet of Menesheh;
Aner with her suburbs, and
Bileam with her suburbs,
for the family of the remnant of the benai Kohat.
6:71-56 Unto the benai Gershom [were given] out of the family of the half shevet of Menesheh,
Golan in Bashan with her suburbs, and
Ashtarot with her suburbs:
6:72-57 And out of the shevet of Yissakhar;
Kedesh with her suburbs,
Davrat with her suburbs,
6:73-58 And Ramot with her suburbs, and
Anem with her suburbs:
6:74-59 And out of the shevet of Asher;
Mashal with her suburbs, and
Avdon with her suburbs,
6:75-60 And Hukok with her suburbs, and
Rehov with her suburbs:
6:76-61 And out of the shevet of Naftali;
Kedesh in Galil with her suburbs, and
Hammon with her suburbs, and
Kiryatayim with her suburbs.
6:77-62 Unto the rest of the benai Merari [were given] out of the shevet (tribe) of Zevulun:
Rimmon with her suburbs,
Tavor with her suburbs:
6:78-63 And on the other side Yarden by Yericho, on the east side of Yarden, [were given them] out of the shevet (tribe) of Reuven:
Betzer in the wilderness with her suburbs, and
Yahzah with her suburbs,
6:79-64 Kedemot also with her suburbs, and
Mefaat with her suburbs:
6:80-65 And out of the shevet of Gad;
Ramot in Gil'ad with her suburbs, and
Machanayim with her suburbs,
6:81-66 And Heshbon with her suburbs, and Yatzer with her suburbs.
